Cold Email Templates – Email 2

NOTE: You’re only going to send the below if you didn’t hear a response from email 1.

Perhaps your short email wasn’t the way to go. Or, more likely, they’re super busy and didn’t get a chance to read it yet. That’s ok. ? We are just going to try again with a LITTLE more detail, and perhaps an acknowledgement that your “funny” attempt didn’t work. People love self-deprecation and self awareness.

MY EMAIL

SUBJECT: So, being a cowboy didn’t work.

Hey,

That’s cool. Not everyone realizes I’m funny that quickly. I can roll with it.

However, I did want to let you know, in all seriousness, that if you haven’t done any podcast advertising yet, perhaps consider giving it a shot with my show – a show with your EXACT target market, if I may be so bold.

Not only are they speaking to people who would 100% love your stuff (and maybe already do) but these shows are covering EXTREMELY topical subjects – Fantasy Football and The Walking Dead.

People who love Fantasy Football and The Walking Dead just, by nature, HAVE to love COMPANY too! I mean, right?

Do you have 15 mins in the next few days to discuss? I’d love to briefly chat about how it works.

Thanks so much! (Tally ho?)

Hey [NAME],

[Here you write that you’re hoping they missed your first attempt]

[Reiterate that you think you’re a perfect partner for them and vice versa]

[one or 2 demographic about your show or their audience, or both]
